Bilbao, 1976. He has been producing and directing short films for nearly three decades. His most acclaimed works —produced under his own company, MANKUSO— include The Perfectionists, Los 4 McNifikos, Bodegón, and Duellum.
Marked by a distinctive visual language, his films have earned him a sustained international presence on the short film circuit. His work has been featured twice in the Kimuak catalogue, broadcast on major TV networks (Canal Plus, HBO, and RTVE), and screened at more than 250 international film festivals, including the San Sebastián Film Festival, Palm Springs Int. ShortFest, LA Shorts Int. Film Festival, Filmfest Dresen, Guadalajara Int. Film Festival, the BFI London Film Festival, Alcine, Zinebi, Moscow Int. Film Festival, and the Miami Int. Film Festival.
He is currently producing his first feature film, Lah Di Dah.
