ECOSISTEMA

A fly, a spider, a rabbit and a girl are the creature characters from an urban ecosystem, ruled by the same law that rules in any natural ecosystem: the strong beats the weak.

Tinieblas González moved to the Basque Country as an infant and at an early age began learning on his own about the art of filmmaking. His first short film, Por un infante difunto (1998), was acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, and was awarded best short film at the Cannes International Film Festival International Critics Week in 1998. Tinieblas’ second short, The Raven (1999), was nominated by the Spanish Film Academy and selected for the Official Section at the San Sebastian International Film Festival. Ecosistema is his third short film.
